 Leilani -- "noble maiden"Leilani is the Hawaiian version of the name "Elsie"... Elsie Rhodes is the patron saint -- or would that be matron saint? -- for these babies |
 Laki -- (Lah`-kee) "lucky"
Laki was the only pup in this litter that didn't have rear dewclaws to remove... he was definitely feeling lucky yesterday! (His sibs have all recovered nicely :-) |
 Kimo -- (Kee`-mo) Hawaiian
for "James"This litter is also indebted to Elsie's husband Jim... who graciously agreed to watch over Brighton and -- later -- her babies while I was out of town |
 Nani -- (Nah`-nee) "Beautiful"Nani was the last born pup in the litter... born after a l-o-n-g night. |
